Tuen K. Lee was charged with raping a woman who worked at his family's restaurant at knifepoint in 2005 and failed to appear at his trial. He's been on the run ever since, according to the Massachusetts State Police. Eighteen years after he allegedly committed that crime, officials are renewing their search for him and calling on the public to come forward with any information.

Lee's family owned the Kagawa restaurant in Quincy.

Police said Lee broke into one of the waitress's homes on February 2, 2005, while wearing a ski mask, held her at knifepoint, zip-tied her to the bed face-down, and sexually assaulted her.

He left her tied to the bed for hours until her boyfriend found her.

One of the pieces of evidence used against Lee was his foul breath, which the victim recognized. The media dubbed him the "bad breath rapist."

Lee was charged with aggravated rape, home invasion, kidnapping, armed burglary, and armed robbery while masked, among other offenses.

After failing to appear in court, Lee was convicted of the above charges in absentia.

He is now wanted by the Quincy Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and United States Marshals Service.

Anyone with information about Lee is asked to call 1-833-677-3171. Tipsters who provide information that leads to Lee's arrest may be paid up to $10,000 in cash.
